		<description>@BrynK: Truth be told, that ticket price made me feel really uneasy as I was writing this post, for the very reason you bring up here. I support FUREE and think they&#039;re doing awesome work, and I know that this event will raise money that the organization badly needs to sustain itself, but I agree with you about the contradiction. I wish they&#039;d gone with a sliding scale model instead.</description>

		<description>Did I read this right -- are the cheapest tickets for non-FUREE members really $50? I get that it&#039;s a fundraiser and the point is to raise money, but that price sort of seems like a sure-fire way to block low-income families from attending an event meant to help low-income families.</description>
